Pumpkins

I am a little behind on posting this... but oh well. Last Wednesday Mike and I carved pumpkins. It was for a Halloween party the Mustang club was putting on... where they were giving out little prizes for best carved pumpkins. Ours never made it out of the car and into the building (Thanks to Mike and his ability to forget everything once he starts talking cars to people). It was still fun carving them though.

We did the whole family. Starting from Left to Right we have Edward (our bird), Lily (our bunny), Molly (our dog), then comes Mike, and then me. I sometimes tend to go a bit overboard when carving pumpkins.

Saturday I spent the day roasting Pumpkin seeds. I found a recipe that you use sugar and Pumpkin Pie Spice. They turned out good. I like the sweet tasting seeds better than just salty or the way we did them last year. It was fun. We also pulled out the crock pot and did a meal. I think the crock pot is my new favorite thing. We have done a lot of crock pot meals recently. I have been having a blast experimenting.

Today we went out and did some work on the 67 Mustang. We are starting to do some serious work now. I posted pictures of all the work that was done today which you can view on my Mustang blog. I am glad to actually see something being done with it.

That was our weekend... too bad its over :-(

Good job on your family of pumpkins. Those pumpkin seeds sound yummy, I've never tried them with anything else but salt.
