Poor Molly

Mike and I have been doing a ton of raking the last couple of days. We have soo many leaves in our yard, it's pathetic! I spent a few hours on Wednesday night raking the front yard. Mike said when he got home Thursday night you couldn't even tell that I had done anything. So he spent hours raking the front and back yard. At first we were leaving the leaves alone because it added to the spookiness of our cemetery scene. When it got to the point where you couldn't see the headstones thru the leaves anymore I figured it was time to take action.
This picture is of the leaf pile in our back yard. To put it into perspective... if I were to stand in the middle of it... it would go up to my shoulders. So Mike and I were thinking that this pile would be every kids dream. Since we don't have any kids... we had to resort to the next best thing... the dog. So we (being the cruel parents we are) thought it would be fun to throw Molly into the pile and see how she reacted. Of course we couldn't let that moment go unrecorded so here is the video...

It looks like she actually enjoyed it. Her tail was wagging like crazy! Of course we had to throw her in one more time for good measure. I didn't record the 2nd time. I swear she liked it though.

So last night we went to a Halloween Party. Mike's sister was throwing one at her house. Mike and I ran to walmart on the way out and bought capes and wigs and went as vampires. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera so I don't have any pictures. We ended up leaving early because I was not feeling so good. It was fun while we were there though.

I have a cold... and am not happy about it! I woke up feeling yucky yesterday. I made it thru work and part of the party but then gave up, came home, and crawled into bed. Today I am very congested. My throat doesn't hurt so much but I am so very congested. I am not happy that my three day weekend is going to be wasted being sick! I still plan on being in the garage as much as possible working on the car this weekend though!

Anyways... I suppose I ought to wish everyone a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
