A New Love
I work in a little building by Intermountain Medical Center. Right behind the hospital they have a little walking path that goes along the creek. So I have started doing the loop where I start from my work, walk over along the path, and back to my work. It isn't quite a mile... but it is a good distance considering I only have a 30 minute lunch break. I have been able to do it with 10 minutes to spare. So now I eat my lunch in between phone calls so I can have my whole lunch break devoted to getting out and walking.
I have done it twice now, Tuesday and Wednesday. It is sooo relaxing. It is nice getting away from the office even for that short amount of time. I am able to take that time to relax and listen to my Ipod while enjoying the scenery of the creek. I always feel so good by the time I get back to work and have to get back on the phone. I was thinking this was going to be a hard thing to commit too... but nope... I love it! I look forward to those little walks now. I am just happy I found a release, a way to have some ME time and also calm down after being yelled at by people all morning on the phones. It is great!

I feel so old!
We are in Sunny St. George for my birthday. It has been a fun trip. Thursday we were able to find old pictures of my 1967 Mustang. You can view those pictures on my Mustang Blog. Now we know what to restore it back to. That was exciting.
Today, being my birthday, Mike took me to breakfast at Denny's. It was rather packed, but I always love Denny's. We then went four wheeling with my parents. We went thru Leeds and Silver Reef and went all over the hills. There were lots of abandoned mines to look at.
This one we walked out onto the rebarb and looked down. I was fine making it out there but suddenly got very scared on the way back. I had to have Mike hold my hand. I thought I was going to die!
Mike was checking out the remains of an old building.
My mom and dad
There was an old abandoned car so Mike had to go see it.
This is my mom sitting by the petroglyphs.
It has been a fun day so far. Now we are going to do a BBQ tonight and do Cake and Ice Cream. It should be fun. I love to spend time with my family, so it should be a blast.
I also have to post a couple of things I found while searching for Mustang Pictures. The pictures are kind of blurry since I had to take pictures of pictures (I dont have access to a scanner).
These are my neices when they were little. Hannah is on the left (who is now13 yrs old), Kristin is in the middle (who is now 12), and Lizzy is on the right (who turns 15 next month). Just another thing to make me feel old. I just thought this picture was cute.
This was the little tag on my crib at the hospital when I was born. I had never seen this before so I was excited to come across it on Thursday.

Aww.... So sweet!

The card says "I hope you have a very Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow. I feel very lucky to have you as my wonderful wife! Love, Mikal"
I was very excited to get the flowers. Especially white roses (my favorite flower). I love being married!
I also had another nice little surprise today. My car parts arrived for the '67. I put my whole tax return towards car parts. They arrived today so I came home to boxes and boxes of car parts in the living room. I cant wait till the car is all done.

I am feeling much better today...
Last night was a fun night. I got together with Linda, Jenny, Kari, and Kristy and had a card night. Never mind the fact that we only played one round of Nuts. It was fun to get together though. We got a lot of talking done though. I really enjoy spending time with my sisters. I even took Mike's Niece and Nephew over to Linda's with me. Ever since the wedding... Mike's Niece Saleen always asks to see her friend Alissa (Jenny's oldest daughter). It is fun to let them play together whenever possible. I am glad they are such good friends.
After playing at Linda's, Mike and I took the kids home. We ended up sitting and chatting with his sister and her husband for a couple hours. Its always fun chatting with them. In fact they invited us for dinner tomorrow night so we will get to do even more chatting!
Today I went back to Linda's and spent time with Jenny and Kristy. Jenny and I played a couple games on Wii. Then Kristin hooked up Dance Dance Revolution 2. That is a hard game. Alissa played it a couple times and actually did really well. Then Kristy did it a few times. I was slightly nervous she was going to put herself in labor... but she didn't. Jenny was the most entertaining. I have never laughed so hard in my life! Good times..... It felt good to laugh again. I need more of these sister sessions. They are good medicine for me.

More bad news...
On the positive side... the Dr reviewed my Hysterosalpingogram. He wasn't too worried about it. The radiologist had me totally freaked out but the Dr said things weren't that bad. There is just extra tissue my body hasn't ever flushed out. So they called in a prescription for more Promoetrium to help get rid of that lining. They want me to start taking that ASAP and then in two months we will do another test to see if the extra lining got flushed out.
An interesting thing happened when I went to pick up my prescription at the pharmacy. First off the pharmacy didn't listen to their messages so they didn't have my prescription ready. They were close to closing for the night but said they would rush it. Well about a half hour later they told me they couldn't get it because my insurance refused to pay for it. They said something in regards to they wont pay because I am under 40 years old. Pretty interesting since this is not the first time I tried prometrium. The insurance covered it last month no problem. So I left empty handed. Looks like I get the fun job of calling my insurance tomorrow to find out why I now have to be 40 to get this medication. I really am not looking forward to taking this medication anyways... I hate the way it makes me feel. Oh well... if it will up my chances for a baby.
I don't mean to make my blog so negative now. Right now, this is what the focus of my life is...trying to figure out how to get pregnant. I try so hard not to be bitter but its hard to understand how teenagers can get pregnant so easy but I can't. Why do I have to have so many problems? Why cant I just be like everyone else and get pregnant right off the bat? I am just getting really discouraged. If by chance Mike and I ever do get pregnant... it doesn't sound like it will happen any time soon.
Once again.... I have to apologize the few readers I have. I don't mean to be so negative. I am just very frustrated right now. It is hard hearing the news that your odds of having a baby are slim to none. I knew I had problems and would take work to get pregnant... but its hard to find out Mike also has problems. We were both shocked to find that out. I guess we will just have to see if God wants to bless us with a child now or in the future. I am trying to keep up hope but my hope is fast dwindling. I kind of feel like a failure. Oh well.

The Joy of Google
I conducted a little experiment out of boredom the other day. What sparked it was Mike was looking for a link to one of his marathon websites he goes to... so he googled his name knowing it would pull up that link. So I decided I would google people just out of curiosity. Mike is a marathoner.... so when you google his name... you get pages upon pages of Marathon Race Results... as well as Mustang events. Mike's family are big Mustang fanatics. Oh and it also brought up a page from his High school Alumni posting a list of people they are unable to locate. It was entertaining being able to tell Mike his high school peers are searching desperately for him. He is very happy to remain lost.
I then Googled Mikes parents. His mom brings up massive amounts of Mustang sites. It also brings up a ton of Mustang Forums and articles she has written for different mustang magazines. Mikes dad's name also brings up lists of Mustangs sites.
I then googled myself. All names I have ever went by. The only thing I found was one website which lists Mike and I as being registered to participate in Mustangs Across America in April (which we probably wont be going to now). I think that link is about 5 pages in there. Pretty pathetic! I then googled my parents and found nothing. I guess that makes sense... my family tends to keep to themselves more than Mike's family does.
It was a pretty entertaining half hour googling people. Some of the things you can find in there are pretty scary. When I googled Mike, I found a page in like reunion.com that listed his name and had a friend section which listed everyone in his family. Pretty unnerving that someone could google you and find out all your relatives.
I guess when you think of the scariness factor.... It makes me thankful I am a loser and am pretty well ungoogleable. All I have to say... is good luck to any bad guys who try to find me through Google. I guess I am safe... for now.

What does it all mean...
I got home after the procedure just in time for the Valium to kick in (It was suppose to have relaxed me during the procedure but I guess I didn't take it early enough). I then ended up taking a drug induced nap for 3 1/2 hours. I hate sleeping away my day off... but I had no choice in the matter. All the meds caught up to me and put me to sleep. I actually was talking on the phone to Kristy when i started falling asleep. I honestly cannot remember what I said to her. So Kristy, if you are reading this... I am sorry if I said anything bad.
I am feeling better tonight though. I called my dr's office and they said to give them a couple days to review it and then they would discuss it with me. They calmed me down a bit. I guess I will call them on Thursday. It probably isn't that huge of a deal... but the radiologist scared me. I am going to keep my fingers crossed that I will be ok and able to get pregnant.
For those of you who didn't know... Mike and I are working on the baby thing. Unfortunately it is not as easy for us as most. I have issues. So we have been going to a Reproduction Clinic for help. I am on all kinds of medication so I am hoping it works. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that the results of the HSG wont be bad, and that these meds will work their magic! I guess we will see what happens.
