Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

So I need to start back at Yesterday and the things Mike and I did. Well Mike went out and did an oil change on my car first thing in the morning. halfway thru it started to rain. So by the time he was done he was soaked. It was cold outside so I pulled out Molly's coat. Molly usually hates her coat but she was actually really excited to wear it.


While I was waiting for Mike to change the oil, I took a picture of our Graveyard in the front yard. I am so proud of our cute little Halloween decorations. Notice the orb in the picture? It is right below the Welcome sign on our arch. I think my camera lens has dirt in it from our four wheeling adventure last weekend because all my pictures seem to come out with blobs like that.



Because it was so cold yesterday... I felt like baking. I have no idea why I associate baking with the cold, but I do. Anyways We decided to first make use of our crock pot so we started a crock pot meal going. I then started slaving away in the kitchen. I made two batches of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread (which made 4 loafs). I cannot bake without making a huge mess. I managed to drop the container of vegtable oil on the floor. That was a mess!! I have now destroyed a shirt and pair of pants, and our kitchen has a very slippery spot on the floor. I was not happy. Other then that, it went ok. We took one loaf to Linda in the hospital and took another loaf to Mike's parents. Of course we had to keep two loafs for ourselves! I almost took a picture of the bread but thought that would be a bit obsessive... so I refrained.

Anyways, yesterday evening it snowed a little while we were out and about. Then we came home and went to bed... and awoke to snow on the ground. It makes me want to put up the Christmas tree! I felt I had to take a picture of the first snow of the season. I love the snow!! (At least on a weekend when I have nowhere to go and don't have to drive in it.)
