Better Late than Never!

I meant to do this post sooner.... but I just never got around to it. Saturday was a very fun day. I got up bright and early that morning to do a 5K. It was one in Sandy that Mike's friend puts on. Lizzy, Linda, and I walked it. We came in last but its all good...It was a ton of fun. Mike of course ran it and came in 2nd. He could have done the 5K almost three times in the amount of time it took us. That was a good way to start out the day.

Linda then convinced us to go boating with them at Rockport. This time it was me, Kristin, Mike, Dave and Linda. Dave has a new boat that he loves taking out. It was a ton of fun.

I like this picture of Linda and Dave. They were just chillin in the front of the boat.

Mike wasn't too happy about having his picture taken. He was nice enough to drive the boat for awhile so Dave could have a chance on the inner tube. Very entertaining stuff.

Dave was the only one to actually do the inner tube. The water was way too cold and it was a very overcast and cloudy day. No one else was stupid enough to get all wet on such a cold day. I was hoping Dave would do the water ski's (because that would be very entertaining) but no luck. Maybe next time.

Here is me with Kristin giving me bunny ears. what a nice loving niece I have.

Boating was a blast! I managed to get very sunburned on my legs. Probably because I wore shorts for the first time in 3 years.

Saturday night was nuts night. Kristy and Jenny couldn't make it so it was just Linda, Kari, and I. It was fun. I managed to win the game. Woohoo! I always love nuts night. That was about it for my weekend. Tons of fun!

Garden Update: The tomato plants have little tomatoes growing on them! They are still very green and far from ripe... but I am just psyched that we will have tomatoes. The cucumbers, zucchini, and Squash plants are all looking great. The Radishes are coming along as well. I think they will be done in a couple weeks. The pea plants were a flop. Not a single pea plant has grown. Not sure why they didn't survive, but oh well maybe next year will work out better.
