My sister-in-law Holly managed to find me some business. She had showed her coworker a picture of the rock I did of their dog, and the coworker decided she wanted a rock painted to give to her mom. She sent me some pictures of a dog she had so I attempted to paint one to look like it. The 2nd picture has the rock sitting beside the pictures I had of the dog. Anyways this is how it turned out. Not too shabby! I think I am getting better at this. Plus I am starting to stray away from my rock painting books. I will only refer to them for ideas on eyes and stuff like that. I am getting a good idea on how to paint my own type of animals and such.. so it is fun.
On this rock I wasn't in the mood to do it, but once I sat down and started painting... I really enjoyed it. I honestly think it can be so relaxing.. even though I usually have to force myself to sit down and do it. So it's a good hobby. Seriously if anyone wants me to paint a rock for me, let me know. sadly I can't remember the price I agreed to on this one ( I haven't gotten paid yet) but I think it was between $30-$35. I am always willing to negotiate, plus the cost would depend on the size of rock as well. So if anyone is interested, let me know!
