The kids had a blast watching her open presents. They also had tons of fun with all the balloons. It's cute when Jenny and Kristy's kids get together. I was watching Kendra and Brinley play house. They had a doll in a highchair and were in the little play kitchen making dinner for their baby. Kendra was the dad and Brinley was the mom. It was cute. I miss those days of playing make believe.
Anyways... I also made sure I got video footage of Kristy blowing out candles since Video is so much better than pictures!
On a sadder note... today was the two month anniversary of my moms death. I miss her tons. To make things even worse... I got word that my Grandma Mathison (my moms mom) is in the hospital with pneumonia. I am praying she gets better. I honestly don't feel like I can handle losing anyone else. So everyone pray that she will make it thru this!
Now... I can't end this post on a negative note because that's just not fun to read. Mike and I turned our game room into an exercise room. Mikes boss gave him a stair climber for free so its in there. Today we added a treadmill that Jenny gave us. I am excited to run on it. Oh we also went to Kirkams and used our gift card and I was able to buy some inserts for my running shoes. They are the type that you put in the oven and then put them in your shoe and it molds it to your foot. So now I should hopefully be able to run in these shoes without anymore problems. I also bought some good running socks. I am excited to put it all to use but Mike is in there running 5 miles on the treadmill right now so I have to wait. I am slightly nervous he will be too much for the treadmill and will kill the motor before I get a chance on it... so keep your fingers crossed that it will make it thru his grueling run so I can use it.
