Glad it's the weekend!

So not much has been going on lately. My life hasn't been too exciting. Mike and I have been trying to get back into the Mustang Full Throttle. We went out to the garage a couple times this week to work on it. I would like to remind my readers that you can read more about that on my Mustang Blog. Anyways we were out there again tonight. We are working on stripping the paint. It is a lot of work but it is something I can do. We went out and I bought my very own power drill. Its cool!! I didn't think I would be so excited about it, but I just felt like I had all the power in the world when holding that thing. It is nicer than Mike's drill!
Mike's is the beat up one on the top. Mine is the nice new one on the bottom.

Linda called this morning and said she was going thru papers and found some old mail for me. She opened them to see if anything was that important and one was a check for $163. I guess I overpaid on my tuition for a course I took. Anyways the check luckily was still good even though it was issued back in October. I decided that money is going to be used for the car. So we bought the drill so that I can help out with stripping the paint.

Oh Mike and I bought a Vacuum last night. We have been needing one since the one I had doesn't work anymore. Mike happened to have an R.C. Willey gift card and also he works there so he gets an employee discount. Well we ended up spending $3.00 out of our own pocket for it. It worked out well. it isn't top of the line by any means... but it made our rugs look brand new once we were done with them. It is sooo nice having a good vacuum.

I honestly cannot think of anything else that has happened lately. Tonight we went out to dinner with Mike's parents and their Canadian friend. We went to Italian Village... Yum! It was nice to get out. It seems like Mike and I tend to get stuck in a rut and not get out very much.

Well I am pretty much out of things to say. I guess I need to get going on my Mustang Blog post since I have lots of pictures to post on there. So if this post wasn't enough of a read for you... then visit my Mustang Blog!

I love being surprised with money in the mail, it's the best. $3.00 for a vacuum, not bad :) I love your new blog layout and picture up top, very cute!!
