It's been awhile

I was looking over peoples blog and thinking to myself "they havent done any posts for awhile"...then i realized that I have gone longer than they have without posting! Life just gets crazy. The wedding stuff is coming along. Shannon went with me wedding shopping last week. That was a huge help (thanks shannon!). I got the invitations mostly all printed up and put together. Ok, i take that back, I only have one box done. But still its progress! Getting peoples addresses is not going as well as I had hoped though. Thats a bit more time consuming.
I am so excited about my center peices! I am going for a rustic theme so the center peices are old looking lanters (but not really old, just old looking) with a battery operated flickering candle. I cannot have real flames in the building so the battery operated candles will have to do. It looks so awesome though when you take those lanterns into a dark room. I am soo excited! I also now have my veil. My coworker was kind enough to lend me hers... so I am happy.
The most exciting things... is that finally we got the officiator! I was a bit worried there that we wouldnt be able to find anyone to marry us. What good is a wedding if there is no one to do the legal marriage cermony. That is all resolved though ($75 later).
All in all, the wedding stuff is coming along. I am not as busy with it all as i was. I actually have enough time now that I started re-reading the Twilight Series. I wanted to re-read the first 3 books before reading the new one that just came out.
Well off I go again. Tonight Mike's family is having a BBQ to celebrate all the august birthdays (his two sisters and nephew all have birthdays in august). It should be fun. His family is fun to be around. Plus... I love BBQ's! Till next time...
